Getting the right people in the right place at the right time.
Open Options Workforce Scheduling has been designed to make the task of staff planning easier in a multi-skilled environment. It provides roster planners with a graphical support tool to simplify the scheduling process and ensure the best use of labour.
Using detailed skill matrices, built within the system for each employee, planners have all the information they need at their fingertips to schedule individuals to teams and tasks according to their skills and capabilities. The initial plan can be adjusted easily to accommodate labour shortfalls against requirements if necessary.
Open Options Workforce Scheduling totally integrates with Time and Attendance and Activity Management so that planners have a complete view of planned absences when putting together work rosters. This integration also allows the planner to make intra-day adjustments when people are unexpectedly absent and allows them to view employees with suitable skills and availability to perform the work. Alternatively absences can be booked from within the scheduling module itself once the planner is assured that there will be sufficient resource to complete the work on any given day or time period.
Once finalised, the schedules can be published for each individual or interested party via the WEB and can be viewed via Employee kiosks or desktop PCs.
