FM&C
Activity Management
FM&C Activity Management module allows organisations to gain a true picture of each persons work activities throughout the working day for effective labour management and costing purposes. It conforms to Activity Based Costing standards and is ideal for production processing environments.
Labour Recording
Labour bookings are normally recorded using bar-code collection terminals, usually located at each activity centre. Employees simply record their arrival at the location (production line) by swiping their employee badge through the data collection terminal which defines the activity centre by its location address.
Production Recording
Supervisors may record the start and finish of production work as it moves on and off each activity. The system is therefore able to calculate the total labour booked against a quantity of product, providing both product and labour performance statistics. The progress of product batches through the manufacturing process can also be monitored, providing up-to-the-minute information on activity efficiency.
Downtime Recording and Analysis
Any interruption to the activity, for example a machine breakdown, can be immediately recorded, signalling a ‘downtime incident’ to the system. Work spent on maintenance or rectification can then be recorded for analysis purposes.
