Timax Contract Announcement
Timax (UK) Limited, a major European supplier of exhaust systems to the automotive industry has awarded Tamworth based Crown Computing the contract to supply them with their Time & Attendance and Activity Management Systems at their Head Office and Central Warehouse in Blackpool.
The system replaces PC based software which was unable to provide the staff deployment and Activity Costing information which the company needs to run its warehouse more effectively. Both new systems will link into the Wealden Payroll system
Time & Attendance and Activity Management are modules within Crown's Factory Monitoring and Control (FM&C) application software. FM&C uses bar-coded data collection techniques to provide an integrated solution for manufacturing and distribution companies. Other modules include Access Control, Job Recording and materials movements.
Crown Computing is an IBM Software Associate that develops and supplies data capture solutions to run on all major platforms and networks. Crown has a client base of over 160 "blue-chip" companies, involved in Manufacturing, Distribution, Finance and Service Industries.
