Crown secures large contract at Pharmacia
Pharmacia based at Morpeth in Northumberland part of the worlds fastest-growing Pharmaceutical company have selected Crown Computing's "Open Options" People Performance Management System to manage their 650 strong workforce.
The reasons behind purchasing a People Performance Management solution stemmed originally from the desire to provide better information to management to enable them to make the most of their resources. A solution was needed quickly to replace their in-house Time and Attendance system due to the forthcoming Pharmacia merger.
Richard Henderson, the project manager for Pharmacia commented "We selected Open Options for a number of reasons. The quality of the software seemed higher than those others we saw, borne out of the fact that it can run happily on a relatively low end client. There was a number of requirements that appeared only to be met by "Open Options", such as holiday entitlement calculation, web access and outlook integration.
