Leading distributor of CD's and Videos, Entertainment UK, which is part of the giant Kingfisher Group has selected Crown Computing's Open Options software. Entertainment UK decided it was time to move away from their manual timekeeping system. Open Options will help to manage 1,250 employees across 3 sites including their new purpose built Distribution Centre at Greenford in Middlesex.
The need for a more effective way to monitor/manage absence along with an ability to handle flexible working patterns was a key factor when choosing Open Options. Running on their existing Windows NT system Open Options will interface fully with Entertainment UK's Unipay payroll system. Jason Coglan, Project Manager, commented, "Open Options gives us the ability to handle increasingly flexible working patterns and consistent effective monitoring of attendance and absence. This in turn will provide us with the comprehensive resource planning and management we require".
